
Context:​
Ananda Soul creates ethical and sustainable jewellery. Located in Bali, part of their profits are used to help mothers of street children in their local area. They were using Bizzy as an automation system and contacted me to move their workflows from Bizzy to Mailchimp since Bizzy was shutting down.
Execution:
Before moving the workflow into MailChimp, Ananda Soul had a low open rate of 5%. The subscriber list needed to be cleansed, and the e-mails needed a modern design. I helped them with the overall e-mailing/content strategy in order to boost the sales and the subscribers' engagement.

The implementation of the automation workflow within Mailchimp was successful and increased the open rate significantly (From 5% to 25%). I gave Ananda Soul a few ideas to build customer loyalty, like the creation of a workflow based on customers' birthday, or the introduction of a bimonthly newsletter with attractive contents adapted to the audience (Ex: What we've learned from our first meditation retreat/What stone are you?).
